The main thing that made me want to become a dentist is the influence of my grandfather, as well as other family members, who encouraged me to pursue a career in the medical sciences. They showed me the joy and sense of fulfillment that can be derived from helping others live better, healthier lives.
What I love about practicing dentistry is the opportunity to help others live happier, healthier, and more confident lives. I also absolutely love working with my hands and merging the art and science of dentistry to achieve an excellent and long last result.
A fun fact is that I was a scratch golfer by the age of fifteen!
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, eating (I consider myself a big foodie), and playing golf.
I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. I moved to the US when I was 10 years old but my country of birth left a permanent mark and very much shaped me into the person I am today. I have an incredible love and appreciation of other cultures, as well as for this amazing country that I live in today!

I grew up singing and acting in theater until I was in college. I thought music was going to be my career path for the longest time.
I love to workout, go to the beach, and try new restaurants!
I was never a fan of the cold. I grew tired of New Jersey winters very quickly and always knew I would end up somewhere that stayed warm year-round. I do miss my family in New Jersey very much but now they have a beautiful place to experience when they come visit me!
